Google brings Chrome to Android devices [Daily Freeware]

Since its release back in 2008, Google Chrome has become one of the most popular browsers around. What’s strange is that despite the company building an entire mobile platform, Chrome has been strangely absent in the mobile market. However, the company has announced that this has changed, and it looks like it has been worth the wait.

Those with Android devices running Ice Cream Sandwich or higher can download Chrome for Android Beta. While it’s nice to see a clean user interface, and Google’s boasts about speed, these aren’t what will make you download the new browser. Rather, Google has worked hard to make transitioning from your desktop to your phone/tablet is as easy as possible. If you’ve got several tabs open on your desktop, and then you have to run out, they’ll be right there on your phone. Even your bookmarks will stay synced. This is the sort of seamless integration that I hope to see more of in the future.
