Have you ever taken an outdoor shot, only to find out that your lines aren’t perfectly straight? This tends to happen because of your particular vantage point, and unless you have a very fancy camera, it can’t be helped. Of course, there are ways to fix it after the fact. One such way is to use ShiftN.

This free program will take photos with converging lines and straighten them out for you. the resulting image will generally be more appealing, because it lines up buildings with the edges of the photograph. The only downside is that you’ll lose just a big of your photo, as it will need to crop a little bit here and there. Definitely a small price to pay for a better overall picture.
