Online Flash games are nothing new, but on the whole they’re restricted to fairly basic features, just you against the clock or computer. Most of the big services also restrict you to their platform of choice, so you’re limited in when and where you can play, which can be frustrating if you really enjoy a particular game.

GameXN is a cool games service which offers you a nice set of attractive and fun games with a number of additional features you don’t often fine elsewhere. For example, you can instantly switch from single player to multiplayer mode within the same interface, which increases the fun quota a lot.

You can also play the games on a number of different platforms, your web browser, via a downloadable Windows desktop program, on your Mac or television and you can even hook up with your Skype contacts and play them. The cool thing about the desktop version is you can play games offline when you don’t have an internet connection. Be warned though, the games are rather addictive!
