If you are into recording audio, chances are you have looked into the costs of purchasing brand new equipment, and it’s not pretty. Running any sort of business that requires you have a professional standard for audio and video likely means that you are going to try and fudge good results from cheaper equipment. So long as the end product is good, that’s all that matters, right?
While you can’t get an amazing quality microphone for $40, you can get the iPhone Boom Mic. Don’t get me wrong though, this little guy has a lot of potential if used correctly. This mic attaches to your iPhone, iPod, iPad, etc. by way of headphone jack. Adjustable clips make sure that this 4 inch long device stays in place. The quality and intensity of the sounds you record with it are supposed to be of much higher quality than you would be faced with otherwise. It must be pretty good seeing as they are already out of stock. You’ll have to wait until April 23rd if you want to take one home.
