Resonating Transparent Speakers…made from SCIENCE

Upon first looking at this, I was somewhat impressed at the thought that these might be made of glass. Even though the general awe still stayed with me after finding out they are made of acrylic, it dawned on me that these Resonating Transparent Speakers would be a nightmare to clean if there are children with fingers that smudge everything around. Although, the sound quality they produce might still make this $180 purchase a worthwhile endeavor.

It’s 40 watt 6 subwoofer puts sound out through the bottom rather than out the side or through the top. Best used on reflective surfaces such as tabletops or hardwood floors, it has a rich bass that will fill your ears with audio ambrosia. The two speakers that are on either side contain four 10 watt 1 speakers that can be angled however you desire. It will connect to any device that has a 3.5 mm port, and will make your living room look quite snazzy.

  • these are just the harman kardon soundsticks. they've been on sale for a decade.

  • Longer than a decade – they were introduced as companion tech to the first iMacs in 1998.

  • Oh dear. Well just as long as Noah didn't use them on the Ark, I think we can get away with it. Maybe? :)
