Some of us have a bit of paranoia regarding burglars coming into the house at night. The thought of someone creeping into your room while you’re fast asleep is quite unsettling, and the only way to know if it’s happening or not is by filming your room at night. The only problem with that, is that most people nowadays know that a little red dot of light means that there is a recording device in their midst.
This is why you should go for something that is a little more incognito, such as the HDMX Quad Alarm Clock. It is quite reminiscent of the beloved companion cube from the Portal games, except it is instead acting more like the famed GlaDOS, as it is watching your every move. Every time the motion sensor is set off, it will immediately start to record everything in front of it onto an SD card. The alarm clock has 10 station presets with a gradual wake feature, and an Aux-in for connecting your MP3 player. Even with all of its snazziness, I don’t know if it’s worth the $450 price tag they slapped on it.
