The Electric Motorboat makes relaxing even easier

You have achieved the perfect date. Excellent food, fancy clothes, beautiful music playing in the background, and now you want to top it off with a boat ride. Instead of wowing your date with such a romantic display, you watch them go from bored to uninterested as you struggle to move the oars, and can’t seem to get the boat to go in the right direction.

While to some that may sound like a story to look back on and laugh, to others it is a nightmare worth avoiding. There is a perfect solution to this problem, but you’ll have to be willing to shell out some major dough to get your hands on it. Its name is simply the Electric Motorboat. It will give you and a companion up to 6 hours of effort-free aquatic adventure. It can cruise at about 4mph on calm water, and holds up to 550lbs. Its functions are all controlled by knob switches, and there is a thumb-activated throttle. It comes at a price of $4,000, but also has two 5 speakers, a built-in cooler, and an automatic bilge pump.

  • Given that Nauticraft makes a much better, safer-looking and bigger boat (Encore) for about the same price; I wonder about this. As H-S has sold rebadged Nauticraft stuff before this might even be a new Nauticraft product (although with a steep Hammacher-Schlemmer premium).

    • Jake from Go-Float Electric Boats here. It's actually one of ours and not a Nauticraft rebadge, although you seem to know your Hammacher Schlemmer Outdoor Living history very well.

Give us a Google and get in touch – we have 5 models and you might be surprised which is safer, bigger, or better.
