Cookoo watch was designed with simplicity in mind

We have a bit of a nervous habit of checking our phones. Every few minutes it seems that we grab at our pockets to tell the time, see if we’ve gotten an email, or received a text and didn’t know it. If you’re in a more professional setting, it’s not exactly a good thing to have your phone out all the time.

While the idea of a wrist watch that connects to your smartphone is an interesting notion, it is seldom done right. There have been many watches out there that act as an extension of your phone, but while you’re checking tweets or texts, you can’t really check the time. It does seem sort of silly to not be able to constantly tell the time on a watch, which is why the Cookoo looks like it really has a good thing going for it. Being an analog watch that runs on a CR2032 button-cell battery, you won’t have to worry about charging it every few days, or for a few years for that matter. On the face there are 6 different icons that will appear as there are texts, emails, calendar reminders and more that happen on your phone. All of these icons are programmable either on the watch, or on a corresponding app. This watch will even help you find your phone if you’ve lost it with the press of a button, and works with the latest Bluetooth devices. This watch will cost you about $100, but seems as though it is one of the better choices for an item of this nature.
