Erm, airplane mode? doesn't this do the same thing?

  As far as I know airplane mode still allows for tracking of your handset? Maybe this is designed as a spy bag? :)

    As far as I know flight mode switches off *ALL* wireless communications.
    That, and presumably this bag also, would render the phone useless as music or audiobook player via bluetooth earphones but it should be possible to use offline GPS navigation and/or bluetooth while the phone function is switched off, just not when it's in this bag.
