Wooden Chopper Motorbike is guaranteed to confuse the local squirrels

Question: What’s made out of black locust wood and animal horn, stores gas in a barrel and has a set of deer antlers for handlebars? Answer: Istvan Puskas’ glorious hand-made wooden chopper motorbike. The Hungarian master carver has gone the whole 9 yards with this beauty. Lurking inside that intricately constructed frame is a regular Fiat car engine, chopped and squeezed into place. There’s no word on how comfortable the thing is to ride, or how fast it goes, but we suspect the lack of suspension ensures that it’s not going to break any land speed records.

And how do you get something like this insured? Third party, fire, theft and woodworm? Anyhoo, it’s a fabulous piece of engineering, so we won’t be snarky. [Via]
