Last year, we saw that Wacom was giving their bamboo tablets a bit of an update. They were the Bamboo Connect, Create, and Capture. While they were all nice pieces of hardware, they might not have had exactly what you were looking for. Many times, these bamboo tablets are used for artistic purposes, and thankfully, Wacom has recently released a newer version that will be all the rage for up and coming artists.
Its name is the Bamboo Splash, and while it is essentially the same hardware as the Bamboo Connect, it has a different software package. It has Autodesk and ArtRage, which is perfect for all of you professional artists out there who want to doodle directly onto your computer, or write out handwritten notes. The active surface area it contains is 5.8 x 3.6, and it will work with Windows 7, SP2, XP SP3, or Mac OS X.10.5 or higher. Even if you’re not in the professional realm of art, a price tag of $80, you won’t be breaking the bank to indulge in your hobby.
You should reverse the photo. The best artists are left-handed.
