We get to see a lot of different stuff here at Ferret Towers. Some of it is useful, some valuable, while at other times we’re enchanted by silly novelty items orjust plain daft gadgets that are downright bizarre. Who comes up with this stuff, we’re often forced to exclaim?

Take this new SnapLNX product. According to the marketing blurb it’s a ‘revolutionary all-in-one men’s accessory’. So why does it strike us as being nothing more than a glorified paper clip? Churlish? OK, maybe so, but billing a clip as a set of cufflinks, tie clip, money clip, lapel pin, and more strikes us as being a tad greedy. I guess we’d be more charitable if the adverts weren’t so obnoxiously sexist, but what the heck. If you’re fascinated by the multitude of options you can put a paperclip to, then head on over there and offer up your $40 for an assortment of designs.
