EyeCard makes reading glasses as convenient as a credit card

No matter how good your eyesight, there are always times when you need more magnification. Fiddly hobby jobs, reading the incredibly tiny printed text at the bottom of your car rental agreement, stuff like that. Most of the time you either have to squint like a dazzled gopher or give up and ask a friend, but now there’s a better option on offer.

EyeCard is a clever little credit card sized set of reading glasses which serve to magnify text by 2.5 times. The plastic gizmo is only 2mm thick and weighs a paltry 5g, so you can carry it (them?) in your bag or wallet with no problem. The cute bit is the nose clamp which makes sure the thing stays put when it’s needed. It’s a great idea and perfect for making sure the small print merchants don’t have it all their own way. Priced at £17.50 for a set of two.
