Sometimes you have to wonder why people are interested in certain hobbies. Collecting and categorizing rocks or researching the medicinal properties of different types of water surely have their appeal, but it’s not for everyone. However, if people weren’t inquisitive about all those seemingly mundane subjects, we wouldn’t have the vast amount of information and research articles available to us that we do today.

If the idea of recording temperatures is just absolutely fascinating to you, then you might be interested in the USB Waterproof Temperature Data Logger. You can record temperatures for 80 days straight in 10 second intervals onto its internal 32Mbit flash memory. It is waterproof, as the title says, and has a resolution rate of 0.0625 degrees Celcius. It only needs two AA batteries to work, and can record temperatures from -40 to 70 degrees Celcius. You can take your pick from blue, purple, red, or orange, and it will cost you about $74.
