Logitech TV Cam HD makes conversations up close and personal

When my sister studied abroad in Japan for a year, we used Skype to video chat with each other. She tried to show us around her apartment, and we caught up on life. However, the video quality wasn’t great, and the range of the camera wasn’t exactly amazing either. If you’ve ever tried to chat through Skype to family, friends, or business partners, you know exactly what I’m talking about.

Logitech saw a solution to this issue, and made the TV CAM HD. This will literally put Skype on your television, and will ring even when your TV isn’t on. It will plug into your HDMI port on your TV, clip onto the top of your screen, and connects to your WiFi. Instead of only giving you a small visible area on either end, this will give you a wide angle so you can see the whole family instead of having to take turns. If you’d rather have a personal call, you can also zoom in, and move the lens via remote. This remote will also let you answer calls, and navigate through your contacts. This whole setup will cost you about $280, and is basically plug and play if you have a Skype account.
