JakPak is a jacket, tent and sleeping bag in one

Leading a life dedicated to camping can be exhilarating but also exhausting. Just the thought of all that kit you’ve got to carry around is enough to make us feel weak at the knees. Pots, pans, tents, lamps, fire-lighters, sleeping gear, it all mounts up. What the world needs is a way to get all that outdoorsy fun without the slog.

That’s where the JakPak comes in. This clever product combines a jacket, sleeping bag and tent (or more accurately bivouac) in one lightweight and compact format. The waterproof and breathable material makes sure your comfort is maximized, and when converted from jacket to tent, it includes a very handy insect net, so you don’t get covered in creepy-crawlies during the night. The only extra thing you need is a pillow.

The jacket comes with three pockets and an iPhone loop, the text comes with grommets for staking to the ground, and the sleeping bag features a fully waterproof base for sleeping on damp ground safely. Available in a variety of sizes and colors, weighs from 2lbs and priced at £149.99.
