Anti Tracks Free keeps your PC super clean and shiny [Freeware]

Everything we do on our computer gets logged. Every file we open, image we edit, video we watch, and no matter how diligent we are these actions can be tracked back by anyone with enough smarts and time. Of course there’s no good reason for becoming overly paranoid about this stuff, but if you live in an insecure, shared environment, you might want to think about keeping some sort of control over your PC to ensure your privacy stays…well private.

Anti Tracks Free is a freeware program which makes this management task much easier. As well as including the usual cookie and browser history eraser onboard, it also comes with a bunch of other useful tools which keep your machine safe and secure. The Windows usage eraser deletes all application history including network caches and document history, and there’s also a disk wipe feature to delete data beyond recovery. There’s even a neat tool for hiding files and folders inside innocent looking photos or images on your hard disk.

To round off the feature rich functionality, there’s also a Windows startup manager (wow, it really shows how bad the Windows start up is, with all these ‘fixer’ utilities, eh?) and a nice little program uninstaller thrown in to the pot. All in all, a pretty useful little utility all round.
