There’s something about looking at a ticking clock that’s kind of depressing. The hands move so slowly that you can almost feel each second as it passes by. Looking at a wristwatch helps you to know if you’re on schedule or late, making it only a reminder of the wasted time in between. Life shouldn’t be so boring as that, and neither should your watch!
Tokyoflash seems to have a knack for making awesome watches that make you think about time in whole new ways. The Kisai Zone LCD Watch is one such item that has a honeycomb display to show the hours, minutes, and seconds. You won’t have to press a button to see what time it is because it will always be on. It also has a constantly moving display that either tells you the time down to a fraction of a second, or shows an animation. Should you need to know the time in the middle of the night, you can press a button to illuminate the screen. This watch will cost you about $99, and comes in either a black band with a black or green LCD, or a silver band with a blue or purple LCD. Note that this watch will jump up in price to about $139 after its first 48 hours of launch.
