This London Underground Circuit Map Radio is so cool it hurts. Delivered to us via the excellent artistic talent of Japanese designer Yuri Suzuki, the whole is clearly greater than the sum of its parts. What makes this doubly delicious is the fact that the original iconic Tube map we all use today was designed in 1933 by an electrical engineer called Harry Beck who worked for London Underground, and he once produced a joke map with the stations replaced by electrical symbols. Art follows life follows art.
We suspect this would sell rather well if it was offered as more than just an art exhibit, but for now we’ll have to be content with viewing it at the Design Museum in London.
