There’s always too much to do and too little time to do it in, which is why we tend to forget stuff. Most of the time we get away with it, until those times when we forget something Really Important ™, like the mother-in-laws visit or the appointment with the parole officer. That’s when you’re going to wish you had some nuclear strength tool close by to help you remember stuff when it counts.
AniReminder is a freeware program which lets you set up the most custom tailored reminders you could ever want, with animated alarm messages, sound and email reminders (complete with attachments if required) and even reminders which can launch programs or files automatically on demand.
You can archive old reminders to re-use at other times, and set the intrusiveness of the reminder to suit your temperament. We guess easily annoyed folk will opt for fairly translucent notifications. All in all this is a piece of software which could save your life, friendship or marriage. You can create an unlimited number of reminders, but only two simultaneous ones with the free version of the program, and you get 10 notification types.
