There’s nothing like waking up slowly with the sunrise, and sitting down to a nice, hot cup of tea. Sadly, that can only happen on the weekends, because the weekdays mean flying out of bed at the last minute and dashing to work. Using a regular alarm clock is only going to do so much if you’ve become accustomed to it, so if you want to avoid the “five minutes to get ready” situation, you probably need an upgrade.

The Flying Alarm Clock has a epically loud alarm, and a screw propeller that will fly up and away. That sounds a bit on the dull side, until you find out that the shrieking isn’t going to stop until you’ve returned the propeller and put it back in place. It runs off of 5 AA batteries, and is backlit by blue LEDs. This $13 purchase is definitely going to make for a love/hate relationship.
