When you leave the house, the last thing you do before heading to your next destination is lock the front door. Sometimes we forget about it, which of course sends us into a state of panic wondering about all of the “what if’s”. Even if you do remember to lock your door, should one of your friends need to pick something up for you at the house, and be found without a spare key, you’re both at a bit of a standstill.
If you want to be able to control the lock on your door with your phone, then the Lockitron has you covered. This will work with everything from smartphone apps to sending text messages, and it will allow you to control you can enter your home at any given time. It’s going to remove a lot of those awkward talks after a break up about wanting a key back. This only costs $149, and fits onto your pre-existing deadbolt lock.
