Breaking a limb is painful, sometimes embarrassing and always inconvenient. Not only do you have to miss out on things that are important to your life while you wait for the damage to heal, but there’s also the annoying and inevitable barrage of ‘oh, what happened to you…?‘ type questions which you get from everyone you meet. Well here’s a novel way to overcome the hassle.

Casttoo decals are like tattoos for casts (geddit?) which you can order in a variety of standard designs, ranging from decorative seasonal (Happy Holidays, Samantha) or animals, or even traditional tattoo type designs incorporating flaming hearts and daggers.

By far our favorite though, is the X-Ray version, where you send them over the original digital file of your breakage x-ray and they send you back a decal which turns your cast into a life size representation of the fracture in question. No more having to laboriously answer the dreaded question, just point to the cast and voila, instant reveal.

The products are a great way to cheer up children with unfortunate limb damage as well, since you can specify kid friendly themes to help the ‘happy healing’ process go smoothly at school and outside. Prices range from around $20.00 per decal.
