What is it with mobile phone companies? Why do they make the ringing period so short? Is it because they want us to make more calls or is it genuinely some technical issue? Whatever the reason, the amount of times people miss a call because it takes too long to retrieve the phone from pocket or bag must be huge, and it’s really annoying.
Well where there’s a problem, there’s usually some sort of solution, and that’s where Super Missed Call comes in. This simple free Android app automatically configures your phone to operate some slick moves on missed calls.
The primary options are motion based – so to automatically call back a missed call, simply hold the phone to your ear and it will dial, or you can shift the conversation over to the Whatsapp chat service by swiping your hand across the screen, and finally you can ignore the call by turning over the handset.
There are additional useful functions such as a reminder, which will keep alerting you that you need to call someone back or you can switch off notifications completely if they make you too nervous. The free version displays ads, the commercial version doesn’t. A simple app, but potentially very useful if you’re constantly plagued by the missed call syndrome.
