Lots of our gear is powered by USB. If something isn’t plugged into our computer, then it’s likely taking up an outlet through an adapter. If you live in a tiny apartment, your place probably doesn’t have an overabundance of outlets, which means you have to make every one of them count.
The Satechi Compact USB Surge Protector will give you a three-prong outlet, as well as a USB port off to the side. The USB output is only 1 Amp, and won’t be able to charge all 10-inch tablets, but it should work for smaller items. It has a green LED protection indicator that will let you know if things are hunky-dory. This is a a good way to conserve your outlets, and will only cost you about $13 (it can probably be found cheaper elsewhere).
