Remote controlled toys are always great fun. Cars buzz around the house, and helicopters whizz through the air with ease. Unless it’s in the hands of a child of course. Then they’re more like moving death traps that will trip you, or crash into something.
If you want to get a toy that will cause slightly less damage in the hands of a child, you should look into getting the Kyosho Space Ball. This thing is a remote controlled helicopter that is encased in a plastic sphere. This means no blades of death careening towards you whenever your child wants you to see how “good” they’ve gotten with controlling the thing. It will cost about $79 to get one of these, and while it may seem a bit on the pricey side, it’s probably worth it in the collateral damage you’ll be avoiding.
