We’re a species of habit. We like things that are familiar and comfortable and we don’t enjoy change. Vending machines, for example, have looked and behaved the same since the dawn of civilization, except for one thing. Size. They’re mostly very big and very chunky. But now some enterprising company has decided to buck the trend and introduce a machine that is small enough to fit on a desk top.
The Koolatron Vending Refrigerator has all the drop slot, window dressing cool of a full sized soft drink vending machine, but in a tiny package. It holds 10 cans of soda, and cools them to 32 degrees below ambient room temperature, which is chilly. It works off a standard power source, stands 18 inches tall and makes a satisfyingly clunky sound as the can drops into the receptacle at the bottom. Most awesome. Priced at $129.95 excluding refreshments.

They should make a coin-in-the-slot version, then when you have drunk them all, you have enough money in the container to refill and start again! (Perhaps even with a small profit). On an office desk, your colleagues would help pay.
Cool idea. :)
