While I have used Instagram in the past, I don’t really see the appeal of it. Yes, I get that it makes your photos a tad more interesting, but it’s just another step to uploading photos to some social media site. Some are a bit more than gun-ho about this service, and so, items are popping up like wildflowers to appeal to this demographic.

The Projecteo is one of these novelty items, and it might just be the simplicity of it, but I don’t understand why you would want to pay money for this thing. This is a tiny film projector that uses a small slide of 35mm film that can have nine of your Instagram photos on. You can customize your wheel online, but you’ll have to buy more than one wheel if you want to broaden your photo store. One Projecteo and photo wheel will cost around $25, and it is small enough to be tossed in your bag and be shown to your friends. It’s a cute gift idea, but probably won’t get more than a few uses before it starts collecting dust on a shelf.
