NoClean Aquarium is nifty, and nothing more

Having a pet fish always seems so appealing when you’re a kid. Although, that’s around the first time that you realize the responsibility that comes with caring for another living creature. They need food, water, proper heat, and their habitat needs a good cleaning every once in a while. There are all types of fish tanks out there. Some can go longer without the need for a wash, and others can go without one altogether.

The NoClean Aquarium makes it so that you don’t need to pull out your aquatic friend from his home again. This half gallon tank has a special reservoir at the bottom that catches all the muck, and only needs you to pour in a glass of clean water once every few days. The vacuum effect will pull the sludge into the pipe, and pour it out into another glass, leaving the fish tank clean. While this seems like a nice idea, it does have quite a few down sides. The tank is half of what it should be for your fishy friend, and there’s no room for a heater, which a betta would very likely need. Adding a couple tweaks to the size and habitat functions might make it worth its $70 price tag.
