T3 Powersport Chariot – make like a gladiator on your shopping runs

If it was any other time or place, we’d laugh at the idea of re-visiting the Roman gladiator death races with an electric vehicle, but in this case we’re going to suspend our disbelief and just imagine this T3 Powersport Electric Chariot barreling down the road to Costco on a Black Friday with razor knives attached to the wheel hubs. Then it all becomes very possible indeed.

The chariot, or green transport technology, as the developers call it, does the equivalent of 400 miles per gallon, has a top speed of 20 mph and a range of around 25 miles. The product is classed as an electric bicycle, so it’s street legal, and it uses a hot swappable Lithium battery system to give it the juice. It comes complete with headlights, turn lights, brake lights and emergency flashy things to let people know when you’re in trouble, or about to time travel.

Apparently the French police love the things, so that should be enough to encourage you to stump up the $8,900 it’s going to take to hit the coliseum this winter. Ad Alta.
