If you’re like me, you forget to check the forecast before you walk out the door. What starts out as a sunny day doesn’t always end up as one, and it’s no fun being caught in a downpour. Try as you may, it’s hard to get in the habit unless it’s sitting right in front of your face. While you may not be able to predict weather 100% accurately, it doesn’t mean you can’t try.
The Tempo Drop is a storm glass of sorts that can do a bit of weather forecasting. This sealed glass container is filled with distilled water, camphor, and ethanol, all of which change between looking cloudy, crystalline, or (mostly) clear depending on what the weather is up to. While it’s functionality isn’t guaranteed, it’s definitely an interesting art piece as it changes up its contents every now and then. This will cost you $69-85, depending on which size you get.
