Minecraft lovers out there, and we know there are *lots* of you, may be interested to learn that Canadian Miguel Cepero appears to be building what looks like an almost photorealistic derivation of Minecraft, but ‘without zombies’. The project, which seems to be going under the title of Procedural World, is clearly a pet love of his, judging by his blog posts, but we’ve got to say the early video run throughs look amazing.
It’s not just a Minecraft clone though, judging by the fact that you can create curves and shapes instead of just blocks. From the looks of the thing, it’s all part of his plan to license his Voxel Farm game engine, and from where we’re sitting it’s going to be a blast. Check out these videos of the project in action.
