When it comes to sound, you don’t want sub-par speakers or headphones. The only problem is that you don’t want to have to pay the big bucks either. There are a lot of companies out there that try to offer the bigger and better, but they don’t always come through.
It looks like VOXX is trying to make that promise to us with its 808 Headphones. They say that they’re trying to make something that “works as good as it looks”. These have over-the-ear cups, are foldable for travel, and have detachable, tangle-free cables. They sport 40mm drivers, have a sensitivity of 105+/-3 DB, and have a frequency response of up to 20Khz. There are two different style of cable, one being a flat cable with a mic, or a DJ-style cable. Currently these will cost you around $90, but they won’t be out until the second quarter of this year.
