Sorry, am I the only one to think this is pointless?

If more than a few ports were active they would be as slow as anything. 28 ports all plugging into ONE port on the system!!!!

I have 4 USB3.0 external HDDS plugged into a 10 port, if I tried to copy from 2 HDDS to 2 HDDS the resultant speed is terrible. :(

  Is there really a speed limit? I thought the 28 max was a power limit? I’ve had tons of cables plugged into one socket and never really noticed a performance issue, but then again I wasn’t exactly doing benchmarks or anything. :)
