Ever since that lunatic bunch used a bunch of Mini Coopers to rob a bank in Italy and get away across the rooftops, people have been ga-ga for the things. Wait, that was a movie? Really? Anyway, along with the VW Beetle it has to be one of the most iconic cars in the world.

So why should we be surprised to find a budget priced music dock system based around the brand? The Mini Cooper Sound System [translate] won’t win any prizes for sound quality, since it’s going to be hard to deliver breathtaking audio from a pair of 5W speakers in the wheels and a 10W sub-woofer in floor, but it’s got cute appeal nonetheless.

The product can cope with direct docking of your iDevice and features an integrated FM radio, a USB port for external MP3 music and a 3.5mm audio out jack to connect to a grandaddy Hi Fi system or amplifier. It comes with a remote control and in a variety of colors, and runs off batteries or mains power. Oh and the headlights really work. €119.95.
