We have all sorts of instruments in the world to express ourselves through music. While some are a little more traditional than others, the merging of technology and instruments has led to some interesting new styles of music. If you are a piano player who wants a fresh look on this classic instrument, then there is an amazing option coming up quite soon.
It’s called the Seaboard, and this piano keyboard will “bridge the gap between acoustic and digital music”. By hitting the keys, you control the pitch, volume, and timbre. If this sounds a bit confusing, check out the video below. Instead of recording an instrument and fiddling with it through software, you play the instrument which has the software on it. Of course, this is just making things the other way around, but it’s still pretty awesome, and would be a lot of fun to play. Only a pre-order purchase at the moment.
