Lie Detector – your phone as a truth telling prank master

There’s no shortage of ways to have fun with your phone, but most of them are solitary pursuits, involving games or creating strange photos. So for all of you who would like to engage in a little ‘magic’ fun, we present a new tool.

Lie Detector is a nicely designed free Android app which gives you a quick and easy way to tell if someone is telling a lie or the truth. Ah but if life were only that simple. Or complicated. In fact, the app lets you select the answer with a subtle tilt of the handset, so you can ensure the best or worse outcome depending on a) your desire and b) the gullibility of the prankee.

The app also delivers adverts, but they’re fairly unobtrusive, and as prank apps go, this one at least makes an effort to add some fun touches like sound effects and flashing lights. For the really daring soul, there’s a random option which gives random answers, so you can in effect treat it like a Magic 8-Ball decision making aid, if that’s your thing.

We think this is the greatest app that has ever been made. True or false?
