OUTDATEFighter – keep your PC software updated with just a click [Freeware]

One of the big hassles with keeping your computer running fast and clean is the constant need to update your software. Old programs often do not operate as efficiently as the upgraded versions, and you’ll also miss out on cool new features when they’re introduced if you don’t stay up to date.

OUTDATEFighter is a free program which automatically monitors your computer and gives alerts when your programs are out of date because a new version has been released by the developers. What makes this product different from similar ones on the market is the fact that it gives one click installs, so you can update all your software in a fraction of the time it would normally take, which is a huge time-saver.

The program keeps track of over 1.2 million applications, so there’s a good chance that it will find the stuff installed on your PC, and the whole tracking process is super fast. Within seconds of clicking the Scan button you’ll get a reading of the outdated programs on your computer and can take action as you see fit.

The program also has a nicely integrated virus checking function which makes sure that the update files you download are safe and secure, and gives you alerts if it feels you should be careful about a particular file. You can also set the program to scan and check every time you load Windows, which is perfect for those of you with a compulsive need for the newest, latest, greatest.

Overall this is a great little tool, which does its job beautifully. Fast, simple to use and very useful. Definitely a keeper.
