Peak Design Capture Camera Clip – Ready, Aim, Click!

Camera Clip 2

Whenever you’re out in the wild taking photographs, you can help but feel as though you’re a quick-draw gunman from the west. If you’re a second too late on drawing out your camera, you might miss that prize-winning picture, and no one wants that. This means you need to have it readily available at all times, but you don’t want it to be hanging about your neck, as those with larger lenses can cause quite a strain on you.

The Peak Design Camera Clip will allow you to ‘holster’ your camera when it’s not in use. This can be attached to your backpack strap or belt (so long as it’s 3 inches wide), and will give you quick access to your gear. It consists of an aluminum chassis, connection plate that can screw onto your tripod mount, and backplate. For general trips, this is great as it will keep your camera close to you without having it bumping and knocking all over the place. It will cost you $80, and would be awesome for a day out shooting. Of course, there is always the fear that something will accidentally bump the ‘quick release lock’ in just the right way, so those of you with expensive equipment may want to be mindful.
