Insect Shield Dog Bandana – when the pests are away, pups will play

Insect Shield Dog Bandana-2

You can’t help but feel bad for your canine friend when it comes to being attacked by insects outside. Putting your bug spray on them is not a good idea, and they’re likely not going to stay in range of any backyard repellent as they will want to run around and play. If you don’t want them to be itchy and scratching constantly the next day, you’ll need to do something that won’t compromise their health, but will keep the bugs at bay.

The Insect Shield Dog Bandana is a man-made spin on a natural repellent that is found in chrysanthemum flowers. This neckerchief will deter fleas, mosquitoes, ants, flies, and more. It can withstand up to 70 washings, which should get you through one summer of adventures. It’s decently sized and should fit just about any pooch. You’re looking at putting in around $11 for this, but your dog will thank you for it. For whatever reason, you won’t be able to toss this in with the rest of the wash, and can’t get it dry cleaned, so I would say washing it by hand when it needs it is the best option.
