There are countless numbers of YouTube channels dedicated to gaming. Some offer great tips, walkthroughs, while some just provide entertaining commentary on your favorite games. One thing common behind all gaming channels, however, is a high-quality gameplay capture device.

If you’re a PC gamer then you are in luck because you can record, edit and upload your gameplay videos directly from the PC. However, a console gamer will have to perform twice the work, as he/she needs to record the gameplay on a console then transfer it over to PC for editing and uploading. Well, not anymore because the new Game Capture HD II allows gamers to record, edit, and upload their gameplay footage directly from their consoles. It works without any PC connection and provides 1080p video recording.

The product supports most of the popular consoles including the Xbox 360, Wii U, PS3 and the upcoming Xbox One as well. It allows you to pause your recording, add watermarks to your videos and provide commentary for your recording directly from the device. The Game Capture HD II also uses your smartphone to show your files and monitor your recording status. The iOS version of the companion app is already live on the App Store, while the Android version will be released soon.
