So today is a big World Cup day for the Brits- what with the Argentina game – which makes the United Soccer (hey it’s football, OK guys?) game interesting. The game is the first to allow for multiplayer teams of up to 11 players to log on and play in one match, which could make for some very interesting gameplay if they can make it work properly.

You can either log on with a bunch of friends and dominate a game, or just hook up to a public server and take your pick a la CounterStrike (although hopefully without the cheating). Another neat feature is the fact that you can upload your own face or avatar to represent you on screen, which could turn out more than weird. No word on pricing or launch dates at the moment, but apparently testing has already begun. [via Eurogamer]
