We live in a fast-paced world filled with people that absolutely love to take pictures of themselves and share them with the world. They also love to chat… nonstop… all the time… as if the world would stop spinning if, for one second, they failed to stay in touch with others. What would happen if the power of instant messaging collided with the self-expression of the selfie?
We were fairly certain the answer to that question was ‘the end of the world,’ but it turns out the answer was really the React Messenger.
With React, it’s possible to attach a real-time selfie to your instant messages. Just type, then smile or do a duckface or whatever is considered cool at this point in time, and hit send. No longer do you have to rely on a golden smiley face to let the person on the other end of the chat know that you’re sticking your tongue out because now they can actually see you sticking your tongue out.
If you don’t have anything meaningful to say (like LOL) then just send an instant selfie or take and send a combined selfie + back camera picture if you want to share both yourself and your immediate surroundings. There’s no reason to worry about the chat history because React only holds a handful of messages while older ones get deleted. Could you imagine the memory usage if all those selfies were archived on your phone?
React is free but it only works with devices running iOS 7 at this point in time, so grab it now to feel like a member of a super-secret elite crowd and start sending those selfies. You know your words have more meaning when your smiling (or frowning or duckfacing) mug is attached to them.
