There’s nothing funny about being a lazy husband, as many disgruntled wives can probably affirm, but that doesn’t take the humor out of this new app… and you won’t believe who created it.
The brain behind the LazyHusband App has no experience with being a husband, either lazy or productive. As a matter of fact, he’s not even old enough to get married. Earlier this year, during SXSW 2013, 12-year-old Ethan Duggan debuted the app that was hopefully taken by others with tongue firmly planted in cheek. Will wives or girlfriends really fall for the pre-recorded excuses provided by the app? Probably not, even if they can be recorded in their husband’s or boyfriend’s voice, but it’s a great way to have a little fun with the lazy husband stereotype.
Is there a guy anywhere on the planet who doesn’t feel a chill down his spine when the love of his life asks if those pants/blouse/shoes make her look fat? Ladies, trust us. Your guy thinks you look great but he still hates hearing that question. If using this app to provide an answer makes him feel better, then let him have his fun. You’ll get your turn, too.
The LazyHusband App is available for 99 cents but the fun doesn’t have to stop there because the wise Mr. Duggan has also created the LazyWife App and the LazyKid App so everyone can have a few laughs from being lazy.
