It’s official. Water and electronic devices don’t mix. They’re not compatible. Oh no. So if you’re one of the thousands of unfortunates who spill liquids onto your phone every day, you’re typically out of luck. Time to get a replacement. Or is it?

There’s a new champion in town which claims to be able to rescue any phone, even if it’s been submerged in liquids, in just 24 hours. With a money back guarantee. The Reviveaphone product comprises a pouch with a solution in it, plus a drying tray.

Just pop the wet phone and battery into the pouch with the solution and let it rest in there for 7 minutes. Then take it out and put it in the drying tray for 24 hours. After which the company claims your phone should work as new. If it doesn’t, try leaving it for another 24 hours and try again.

We’re not really sure what’s going on, and how the solution is supposed to work (there’s no real detail on the website unfortunately), but the money back guarantee is a good sign. The product is priced at £14.99.
