ToastyMUG – Warming your outsides as it warms your insides

When Jack Frost is nipping at your nose – along with other parts of your body – nothing beats wrapping your hands around a nice hot cup of tea or coffee. Now there’s a mug designed to enhance that particular type of wintertime joy.

Part mug and part hand-warmer, the ToastyMUG features a design that takes advantage of how we usually hold a hot mug on a cold day, ignoring the dainty little handle so that we can wrap our hands around the warm goodness of the mug itself to enjoy the heat given off by the yummy contents of the cup.

Handmade by craftsmen in Montelupo, Italy, the ceramic mug has a wraparound pocket for the hands, instead of a handle, letting you give in to that natural inclination of wrapping your mitts around the mug.

Measuring 18cm x 10cm, the unqiquely-shaped ToastyMUG even makes an eye-catching centerpiece for your table, although most people probably won’t even know what they’re admiring until you offer them a nice hot cup of coffee, tea, or hot chocolate to help them chase away winter’s chill.

It’s available for €44.00/$59.91, and comes in either green or grey.
