O.K. listen up all you crazy surrealists out there. Now’s your chance to demonstrate to the world just how weird your head is, and why you refuse to watch X-Factor. Sure you could go around with a chicken on your head, but where’s the fun in that? Nope, you need something else, something wacky.

The Melting Watch almost needs no introduction, so famous is the original work from the master himself, Salvadore Dali. In case you’ve forgotten though, it’s The Persistence of Memory (which strangely enough we forgot! duh), a rather wonderful piece of art which the world adores for probably all the wrong reasons.

Well now some enterprising soul has cleverly re-produced the effect for this product, and we’ve got to say it’s pretty cool. Underneath the art lies a fairly conventional quartz analog timepiece which comes with a rather surreal black rubber band. High couture this ain’t. But then again, for $29.95, it’s not expected to be, right?
