Canadiano Coffee Brewer – Absorbing previous cups to flavor future cups

Canadiano Coffee Brewer

A block of wood sitting on a coffee cup? Well, isn’t that exciting. You’re probably asking yourself – as well you should – if there’s more to this unique coffee brewer than meets the eye.

Honestly, what you see when you look at the Canadiano Coffee Brewer is basically what you get. Aside from the metal filter that’s used to reduce waste and lower environmental impact by not using paper filters, you’re looking at an almost all-natural coffee brewer.

With any of the three distinct brewers that are available (Cherry, Walnut and Maple), simply place the Canadiano on your cup, add two spoons of coffee and pour hot water into the wooden bowl, and enjoy your cup of coffee in approximately two to four minutes.

What makes this brewer different from an ordinary coffee maker is that it actually changes the more you use it, with the wooden piece ‘remembering’ each cup of coffee you make by absorbing the coffee oils of your specific beans and roast into the wood, becoming “a part of your morning coffee experience.”

To make things seem even more highbrow, each type of wood is matched with different beans and roasts from around the world.

“We encourage brewing single origin beans in the Canadianos. The Walnut edition is crafted and designed for use with darker roasts and earthier flavors such as beans from South East Asia. Maple and Cherry is designed for beans with slight citrus hints and nutty taste.”

One Canadiano and one pound of coffee costs $60 CAD/$54.83/33.51 GBP.
