Feel the width.

There’s a significant proportion of peeps who experience problems printing out the whole of a web page in Internet Explorer (the right hand edge ends up missing). Well the Fitted-Width Printing Control is a small download which will install an icon and toolbar to overcome the problem. Haven’t tried it yet, but one of my offline readers says it works as advertised.

    Hi Red,

Couldn’t get the software. The link just made me go around in circles. Any idea where else I could download it from?

You need to install the control first in order for it to install. Otherwise it just goes round to the original page.

  3. Fit printing to page width in IE
I print a lot of web pages and it is a pain to print something only to have the right margin cut off and leaving me hanging.

In Firefox it just gave me the run-around (which I guess it should). Under IE6 it installed easily. Looks like it shrinks the whole page to fit width, doesn’t rewrap text or anything. Pretty lo-tech, but it works.
