We used to be indecisive, but we’re much better now. We think. But if you’re still stuck in the rut of being unable to come down firmly on one side or another of any issue or problem, we think we may have a solution. Or maybe not.

Milemma is a free Android (iOS soon) app which basically lets you ask a disparate group of people what your decision should be in any particular situation. While many of you might sneer on having to rely on strangers for advice on your life issues, for some people (particularly those who may be shy or socially inept) it could be a real help, especially with emotional decisions and suchlike.

Yes there is a potential for abuse, but we’re pretty sure that the power of the crowd should eventually even out the trolls, and with something like an app there may be more of a way to filter out the dross and highlight your favorite respondees. The only thing we worry about is if, like satnavs and navigation by maps, this type of app eventually lead us to abandon our thinking and reasoning abilities until they shrivel up and disappear.
